The Great Chingis-Khan
This tattoo was worn by A convict named Dorzhap, and drawn by the artist V. Makushkin, both men were sentanced together for fighting with six Russian Old Believers, who called them ‘yellow-faced monkeys who have only just lost your tails’ and ‘slanty-eyes’. As they both skilled in martial arts, they easily dealt with the name-callers. They were sentenced to five years imprisonment for hooliganism.
